Earthquake relief in Nepal

In April, 2015, a 7.8-magnitude earthquake stroke Nepal. When the government did not know what to do, the Church of God members carried out recovery efforts and rescued victims with all their strength at the place of despair.

Despite the danger of aftershocks, 15,000 man-days conducted restoration work in 700 places including Kathmandu, Kavre, and Sindhupalchok, and donated relief funds and goods such as tents, mats, rice, instant noodles, bottled water, lentils, and salt.

We also delivered courage and hope to 1,000 families in remote villages in the Himalayas at an altitude of 4,000 meters such as Sertung and Tipling as they were cut off from the outside world by delivering food 14 times by helicopter.

Installation of water pumps in water-stressed countries

There are many places in the world where people have to drink contaminated muddy water as they lack clean water. A rural area in Kandal, Cambodia, is one of them. The residents either draw water from the river to drink it after letting the mud sink or collect rainwater. We have installed water pumps for their health and happiness.
