“The world is now experiencing the devastating effects of wars, famines, earthquakes, and climate change. The Church of God has actively responded to various relief efforts around the world through environmental cleanups, food aid, and emergency disaster response teams. All these Church of God’s humanitarian activities originated from the heart of Mother.”

His speech summary (UN Headquarters in New York, U.S., on Dec.13, 2016)

The Church of God was invited to the High-Level Conference on the Central Emergency Response Fund [CERF], held at the UN Headquarters in the U.S. on December 13, 2016. It was the first time for a church to be invited. The reason the Church was invited to the conference where the representatives of member states, entities of the UN, observers, and more were present, is that the UN highly appreciated its sincere volunteer services. Through his speech, General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol stated that Church of God’s humanitarian activities originated from the heart of Mother and pledged to work continually to help ease the difficulties of the world.
